5 of the most powerful ideas I learned from Thought Leaders By Stacy Bookman

In our world today information and ideas are discussed and shared worldwide. Some of this information is better than others and some can even be life changing. Below I’ve shared some of the top lessons I have learned in the personal development field from some of the top leaders in the world. I have had the pleas to attend events by each of the following and can highly recommend each of them. Here’s the wisdom I gained:

Tony Robbins – “You future does not equal your past.” For me this was a big one, too often people let their past define them or contain them. If you allow your past to dictate too many of your decisions it becomes a prison. For more go to www.Tonyrobbins.com

Bob Proctor – “If you see it in your mind you will hold it in your hand.” It’s easy to overlook this important concept. Everything that you will ever create must first be clear and vivid in your mind. Creation of success doesn’t happen by accident. Your mind is the first thing that needs to get going in order to get your body going. Ultimately your results will be a reflection of what you think about most. http://www.proctorgallagherinstitute.com

John C. Maxwell – “If we are growing we are always going to be outside of our comfort zone.”  I liked this idea a lot. When I get comfortable it prompts me to recognize that I need to do something more.  Generally we get comfortable when we get really good at something. That’s the sign that we can do better. https://www.johnmaxwell.com

Douglas Vermeeren – “If you own it you can change it.” This was a big reveal for me. Too often people try to change this without getting involved. In other words we blame our problems on things beyond our control.  This idea encourages us to step up and take ownership. Even of thing we didn’t create. This allows us to create situations we want to be part of. http://www.DouglasVermeeren.com

Stephen Covey- “Seek to understand before being understood.” Massive shift for me here. As I have tried to understand first I have been surprised at how often I have actually assumed the wrong thing about entire motivations and intentions. Life has truly become better because of this one. https://www.stephencovey.com

Brian Tracy – “Successful people are simply those with successful habits.” Habit ultimately creates results. If we want better outcomes we can just do something great once. It needs to become a habit. I love this idea of nurturing great habits and I have experienced powerful changes with this one. http://www.briantracy.com
